You Capture - Technology

Photobucket

I took a very broad view of this week's assignment at I Should be Folding Laundry:   technology defined as the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science.

I also tried to do most of it outdoors.  Here goes!

A service cover at the edge of the road.  Kind of beautiful in it's symmetry.

A mail distribution box, overgrown with shrubs.

I like the linear effects of the lines and shadows, and the contrast with the curved awning and sign.

Z's bike.  Taken with colour filtered.

Garbage and recycling bins at the Four Seasons Centre.  Aren't they luscious?  My fellow opera-goers were wondering why I was photographing them, no doubt!

Emergency call station on University of Toronto campus.  Used a filter (if you couldn't figure that out, LOL!)

Oncoming subway train in the newly refurbished Museum Station (outside the Royal Ontario Museum).

Beautiful glass above central stairwell at Regis College.

Love the shots! For some reason, the one with the power lines most intrigues me!
