Lenten Haiku

Sensational Haiku Wednesday

This week's theme is "Renovation" and I've taken a Lenten approach:

mark of ash recalls
we are dust, but nonetheless
we are truly loved

season of penance
time for work on heart and soul
turning towards God

    I had to look it up on the calendar, but it is indeed Ash Wednesday! Cool interpretation of theme :)

    great way to start Lent with this little haiku.... I told my boss I had to give up working for Lent but she did not go for it!LOL
