I just finished reading
Good to a Fault by Marina Endicott, a
Giller finalist in 2008. It has to be one of the best novels I have read in months. The book depicts a middle-aged woman's offer of assistance to a family in trouble and how it changes her life in many ways. Beautifully drawn characters both attract and repel the reader.
Two thumbs way up.
