The Empty Nest
That was awesome. Made me want to be a nun. *sigh*
I just finished reading Sarah Dunant's "Sacred Hearts" set in a ?16th centruy convent in Italy (Ferrara). A very nuanced portrait of convent life at the time -both the good and the bad.
Sacred Hearts is on my hold list at the library...looking forward to it!
