Too true, too true...both of them! And here I thought this was unique to us South of the Border! Crass commercialism is not one of our better exports!
I haven't been near any store but the grocery store since Black Friday. On Black Friday I did got to the maul -- oops -- mall, but not to shop. I went for Amoeba's concert. Too crazy, too greedy, too commercial.
SO TRUE! I cannot imagine living in downtown T.O. and trying to shop though... it's tough enough in my neck of the woods to get a parking spot!! :D
