That lentil pie sounds quite fascinating; care to share the recipe?
I went to pull out the recipe for you, Phyllis, and realised that I no longer have the book from which it comes (Moosewood). So I may be switching to Baked Lentils with Cheese from "The More with Less" cookbook. We're having a family party Saturday night and my brother and his children are vegetarians, so this is the alternative to tourtiere, my son's birthday request!I've also realized that the men-folk probably shouldn't be heading to Armenian Kitchen on Friday as it is a day of abstinence from meat during Lent, and the chicken shawarma is pretty hard to resist!
Oh, I've got both those cookbooks and I do like the More With Less casserole though I haven't made it in years. Maybe I'll pull it out for Ash Wednesday also. Thanks!
